Raymie Marie Hendricks was born
July 17th at 8:51am at 7lbs 8oz and 20inches long.
I was induced the night before (mine and Jareds anniversary,July 16th) at about 9pm. Around 2:30am my water broke and thats when I decided that it was hurting bad enough that I wanted an epidural. I had the epidural around 3am and only my right leg went completely numb. haha it was the weirdest feeling ever. My left leg eventually got a little numb. But I really liked how I could kind of feel it still. Around 6am the nurse came in and gave me some pitocin to get labor going faster. I started pushing around 8:20ish am and out came Raymie at 8:51am.

Labor was not as bad as I thought it would be....probably because I was numb from the waste down. haha. Epidurals are fantastic. I had a whole crowd attend the birth of Raymie. My mother, my sister, Jared (of course), Jareds sister, Jareds mother and oddly enough...my father. My father however did not watch the birth...after she came out he went straight to the baby. Haha never even looked over at me until I was covered. Good thing....cause that could have been real awkward. haha. Jared was wonderful support the whole time, my sister and sister-in-law kept making me laugh and my doctor and nurse were amazing and quite funny as well. The whole experience was very light and that made it easy for me.

Raymie is the most beautiful little baby girl ever. It's really weird to think that I'm a mother and Jared is a father. We are so blessed to have her in our lives and I absolutely LOVE being a mommy. Not going to lie, it's hard some days....and nights. I have probably had a total of 72 hours of sleep since she was born. But she is completely worth it. I am so excited to watch her grow.
| She does this most of the day...and is up all night. :) |
