Every year I get together with my husbands side of the family (Girls only) and we go on a weekend together to hangout, shop, craft and have a good time. This year we went to Bear Lake and I absoultley loved it! We had so much fun! We went on a hike, made crafts, played games, and went swimming. I made the wrong choice of swimming in extremely cold water. We hiked to Bloomington Lake and I had never been there before and so I wanted to explore. Well I found a tree with a rope swing on it...so what do I do, strip down to some lesser clothing and I swung in. There was snow on the ground there...so the water was EXTREMELY cold. I honestly couldn't breath for the first 5 seconds of coming out of the water. Luckily Jordan was there to save me, just in case anything went wrong. Everyone else was on the other side of the lake watching. haha it was fun and I'm glad I did it. I made my sister-in-law pee her pants because it was so funny. haha. It was beautiful there and I LOVED seeing the snow...it made me so excited for SKI SEASON!
We made some super amazing crafts too! We made a Christmas decoration that said "PEACE" in wood letters and the "A" was baby Jesus in the manger. We also made a Halloween wreath and it is currently hanging on my door.
I loved spending time with my family! They are all so fun and sarcastic...it's so awesome! haha. I seriously love Jared's side of the family...it's as if they were my family from the very beginning. They treat you as if you have been there the whole time, and I love that. I honestly think that I know Jared's side of the family better than he does. haha. I'm looking forward to next year!
