Raymie a year and a half...20 months old

My little girl is growing up. Seriously. She will be 2 in July! It's so sad to me.
She has been such a delight to be with and watch.
She currently loves watching "shows" she calls her movies shows. Her favorites right now are The Lorax and The Croods. Her favorite tv show is Bubble Guppies. Yes, I have "poisoned" my child with television. You would too if you had a crazy little Raymie running around your ~750 sqft apartment.

We are currently working on learning colors. She struggles with them sometimes (possibly color blind?...). She used to say "blue" to everything. But now she's kinda getting it. She has green, blue, pink and purple down pretty good; she is just starting to get the orange, red and yellow.

Her favorite foods are: oatmeal, chicken, hotdogs, raisins, popcorn, licorice, marshmallows, apples, grapes, applesauce, toast, yogurt and she absolutely loves fruit snacks. If you even say the word "snack" around her, she will start repeatedly saying the word "snack" until you give her a fruit snack. Raymie loves to color and we have a notebook that is just for her for her coloring. She honestly asks to color probably 3-5 times a day. She also love the iPad. We try not to give it to her to much because she could stay on it all day if we let her. but just like the fruit snacks, if she wants it she will say "iPad" repeatedly until I either say "no" or give it to her. She probably plays on it 2-3 times a week. I really monitor with that thing. Raymie also loves to play with my hair. She will brush it and than flip it around in her hands a bunch of times. haha it's funny to watch her. she also likes to build and play in blanket forts that Jared makes for her. oh...Raymie loves to dance and lately she has been singing. haha it's so funny to listen to. I need to get it recorded.

Raymie used to come to me and start whining like she wanted something, so I would ask her what she wanted and finally it was getting to the point of ridiculousness because I couldn't figure it out. So I finally said "show me what you want" and I grabbed her hand and she showed me....not a good idea. Now, whenever she wants something, she will grab either my hand or Jared's hand to show us what she wants. Haha it's kind of a game between Jared and I because now we will hide our hands if we know she going for them. hahaha.

Raymie loves to be outside and play with her blue ball, ride on dads bike and go down the playground slides. The other day...she saw a tumble weed (a very small one) blow in the wind and she kinda screamed/whined and came running towards me. hahaha. I had to sit there and explain to her that it was a stick....she didn't seem to understand. haha but it was real funny. Oh...she is also scared of the lint that comes from her little baby toes when she gets in the tub. hahaha I literally have to push them away from her or she starts screaming and crying. She is such a wimp.

I have a crazy little girl. She honestly never stops moving. In the past two months we have been to the ER twice. The first time was because she fell and hit her face on a shelf and cut just beneath her lip, open. Three stitches later and we were good to go. My dad took the stitches out and yay...I could finally put scar cream on it. A few weeks later she was walking with her hands in her pockets (it's seriously so adorable, especially when she has her hood on) and she went to go up the cement stairs and fell....on her face. Blood gushing out of her nose, her bottom lip...right where the stitches used to be...was cut open and we didn't even notice that her top lip was swollen until we got to the hospital. We took her in because her nose wouldn't stop bleeding and we wanted to make sure it wasn't broken. She wouldn't stop crying either. With the stitches she was good in a few minutes, with this, we couldn't calm her down. The doctor said it didn't feel like her nose was broken or out of place, but because toddlers are still growing and their bones aren't completely set, it's hard for them to break things. So far so good.
