Where did the time go? I feel like it was just yesterday that she was turning one.
For her birthday we invited our friends and their kids around the apartments that we live in and had a splash party. We had little spray bottles, sponge balls, buckets of water, a little kiddie pool, a slip and slide and a pvc pipe spray thing that one of the mothers made. It was a lot of fun. There was watermelon, cupcakes, otterpops, and rice krispie treats for snacks. We had a hard time getting the slip and slide to be slippy enough...so the fathers ended up throwing the kids down it. Haha I guess it was one way to do it and they had a good time.

| Grandma Hendricks brought the slide and pool and helped us all day to get ready for the party. |

This age is fun...minus the trying to potty train, talking back, and tantrums. Yes, my two year old sasses me. Little stink. She is too smart for her own good. The other day I asked her to pick something up for me (That's happening a lot currently, due to this large belly) and she picked it up, held it close to her and said "Wha do you say?" haha....I said please about three times until she gave it to me. hahaha. Our little girl has pretty good manners. Makes me feel proud. My favorite is when I sneeze and she says "Bless you". Mommy Bragging Moment: I get compliments from the nursery workers about how good she is all the time and how polite she is. Honestly it surprises me with the way she acts to me sometimes. haha.
She really likes to play pretend mommy and cooks, cleans and puts her stuffed animals/babies to bed. She loves to play with her friends (though any kid her age she considers her friend, whether or not she know them). She finally loves to play in the water and loves sprinklers. She loves playing with her daddy and playing outside.
Raymie always has to wear her sunglasses when we go outside...people think she does it because she is a diva...but she really does it because her eyes are super sensitive to the sun. She honestly hates being outside without her sunglasses.
Raymie loves to go for walks to the temple, ride her four-wheeler and bike. She loves to play with her sidewalk chalk, paint the sidewalk with water and throw her ball around. Raymie loves to read books and color too. Her favorite shows right now are Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and she loves the Tinker Bell movies. Raymie loves to dance and sing. She has some pretty awesome dance moves.
Raymie has all four of her canines coming in right now...poor thing. She's been chewing on her fingers for the past couple of weeks.
Raymie is deathly afraid of bugs...I don't know why. Even ants. She will stop dead in her tracks if she sees the tiniest little ant crossing her path, freak out a little, and go around it. We were on a walk one evening and Raymie was doing something she shouldn't and Jared threatened her that if she wouldn't stop...he would put bugs in her hair. Immediately Raymie starts freaking out and rubbing her head thinking that there were already bugs in her hair. Hahahaha. Jared and I just started laughing and finally we calmed her down. It was pretty funny.
She has being doing really well with potty training. She pretty much has it...but she has accidents here and there. When she does have an accident and I explain to her that we don't go pee pee in our panties...she says with the sweetest little voice you could ever imagine "Sorry Mommy.". So so so sweet.
Lately, she has been doing this left eye squinty thing...when she asks a question or is confused....it's super adorable.
