HAIR: My husband the Barber

Welp...I lost the bet. Jared beat me by a whole 2.5 hours. You might be laughing now...but you haven't seen my hair cut yet (p.s. he used my kitchen scissors). He did a pretty good job...only I look like a little German boy (no offense). But hey....he's the one that has a weird looking wife that looks like a little German boy so technically it's his loss. I had a little bit of a crying episode after...but looking at it now (he did it yesterday) it's actually pretty hilarious. Haha. You likey?.....don't answer that.

I told him to make that face

My cute little Raymie: She didn't like her hair thing. I know she is so adorable!

Is that a Challenge?

Jared and I decided that we need to get into shape....yay (extremely sarcastic). I have a very good incentive though. If I LOSE Jared gets to cut my hair. If Jared LOSES he has to do my night cleaning job for a whole month by himself.
So my question is, who has more to lose?
We are counting it by minutes. Whoever has the most time wins. Winner doesn't get anything, we just picked really crappy losing prizes. Haha. We'll see how it goes. We aren't allowed to see each others time sheets either...so I'm kinda nervous. You're dying to know how much time I have so far aren't you...well I have 146 minutes (2.4333333 hours). We started three days ago. I have a love hate relationship with working out....always have.

Raymie is walking like a champ. She is so adorable and amazing. I really do have a great little girl. I noticed though that she's kinda becoming a little stinker. She has been giving people the meanest looks lately. I'm really hoping this doesn't lead to a little brat child. I'm sure it's just a phase...but still.
I can't believe she is 10 months old already! It's so sad. She turns ONE in TWO months!!!! I feel like she was born just yesterday! Don't get me wrong, I love Raymie and she is my favorite child ever haha, but I kinda hate the whole starting kids thing.
Once you start, you can't stop.
No I am not announcing that I am pregnant...because I'm NOT. I just hate thinking about when we need to do that whole shinanigan again.

I just found these pics...I don't even remember when they were taken

RAYMIE 9 Months

Don't judge my Raymie (9 months).
You all really only look at my blog to admire my adorable little girl (who everyone says looks like me...so does that make me adorable!?) Hahaha.
I decided that my little girl has my immune system (BAD) instead of her dads (GOOD). A couple of weeks ago, after spring break (IN HAWAII), she got an ear infection. Sad day. She's a champ though. She is overall a pretty tough little girl. But she still keeps tuggin on her dang ears; so much that she has left scabs in them (and me thinking one of those yellowish scabs was ear wax and I scratched it off...blood. Haha horrible mother).
Sick...Fever...Ear Infection

Raymie is a CRAWLING MACHINE! She never stops. Haha. She has been pulling herself up onto things for about 2 weeks and can stand alone for about 10sec. But yesterday she stood up all by herself just by pushing off of the ground. She is doing great.
She also loves to do this thing that Jared and I call "TAKING A KNEE". She just gets up on one knee all the time. Sometimes she claps while she does it...but we really don't know where she got it or why she does it. Haha.
She LOVES to suck on socks...I know she's a weirdo. haha. I even put a pair of my old socks that I don't like in her toy box just for her to play with. She also loves to SCRATCH things. Kinda weird. Like when I breast feed her, I have a dark freckle thing on my chest, and while she eats she stares at it and scratches it trying to get it off. She also scratches at one of Jared's freckles on his arm. WEIRDO. She also likes to FOLLOW people around the house. Like a dog. haha. My daughter is so awesome. She is really good about noticing the LITTLE things too. If she notices any discoloration in the floor she'll go right to it...and than stick whatever it is right in her mouth. She also loves plastic bags and paper (which I don't let her play with either of them...chocking hazard). She also loves WIPES. After we feed her we give her one to suck on (Hopefully she wont end up on that one show...weird addictions or something and end up eating baby wipes for the rest of her life).
She likes strings and cords too (don't worry I don't let her play with cords). Can you tell I have my hands full!? She loves to suck on the sweatshirt strings while people are holding her. Now you understand that I have to be watching her CONSTANTLY. Haha. I love her so much though. She has such a fun personality. My favorite is right before bedtime. She tends to get super giggly about then. She rubs her eyes and I know she's ready to go to bed...but not before we have a little bit of GIGGLE time.

Easter

Happy Easter!
After we got back from our Hawaii trip, my father in law (Greg) came and picked us up from the airport and we spent the weekend in Utah with my husbands family. They blessed their new baby boy (Dempsey). He is adorable and the only grandson! Did I mention they all had the cutest matching Easter Dresses!!! Minus Dempsey of course. Haha.

HAWAII (spring break 2013)

ALOHA!!!

Over spring break my parents decided we should all go to Hawaii together as a family. So we did.
Day 1: Kinda crazy. We took the Salt Lake shuttle to the Salt Lake Airport and there went through security. Awesome. Than boarded our 6 HOUR flight to Hawaii. P.S. I HATE flying. Raymie did really well on the flight though. She hardly even fussed. Once we got to Oahu, Hawaii we did a little sight seeing. Went to the beach (2 blocks away from our hotel) and just walked the main street where there we a ton of $Pricey$ stores. Chelsey, Justin, Jared, Raymie and I all shared a room and My mom, dad, and three brothers shared another two doors down from us. Good thing. Can you imagine all of us in one hotel room...!?

Day 2: We hiked Diamond Head. It was a fun Hike...until I got to the stairs. Haha. They seemed never ending. It was a B-E-A-UTIFUL view from the top. After that we went to the beach and kinda just hung out. Raymie did really well in the water and sand. Jared and the other boys cut up their toes and legs on the coral while trying to boogie board.

Day 3: We went and saw the Hawaii Temple. Again...weather was not so good. But it wasn't cold. So that was good. After the Temple we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. That was fun. They had all these different stations where you could learn to throw spears, dance, and get painted on tattoos. We spent the whole day there and in the evening they had a show where some of them spun fire. It was pretty awesome.

Day 4: We went to the beach and went snorkeling. Another thing I don't like is snorkeling. It freaks me out. But it was still lots of fun! That night we all kinda just did our own thing. Jared and I went shopping a little bit. We saw Justin and Chelsey getting some tattoos that stay on for two weeks. So I got a little turtle on my foot. It was all a ton of fun!

Day 5: We went to the DOLE plantation and saw some pineapples. I still think It's weird how they grow. Than we went to Pear Harbor. We didn't get to actually go on the ships because they closed sooner than we expected, but we still went to the little museums they had there and those were pretty cool. After that we headed to the Airport for our Redeye flight home. Raymie did really well on the ride home too...me not so much. Lets just say I really really hate turbulence.
A little thing I noticed about Hawaii, besides the beauty of it, is that there was no trash laying around anywhere. They keep it so clean there, which is really cool. Another unexpected thing I noticed...lots of hobos...and I don't mean the spiders. haha. And a gallon of milk costs $6...ridiculous.
Overall it was a great trip! It was lots of fun and we had enough family time to last me a couple of years. Hahaha just kidding!!!

We are an adorable family :)
